I have been work with Aaron Krowne on the Implode-O-Meter that started it all, The Mortgage Lender Implode-O-Meter. Aaron's brainchild, my contributions began namely with the logo and have grown from there.
The Home Builder Implode-O-Meter is "Documenting the greatest building boom's inglorious finale." This mainly means tracking as builders and developers file for Chapters 7 or 11.
This is the official site for Implode-Explode Heavy Industries, Inc., which is the newly founded holding company owned equally by Aaron Krowne and me. "IEHI" or "MXHI" (Depending on who's making up the acronym, I prefer the latter!) will be the springboard for our entrepreneurial endeavors. It will soon own Bernanke Panky and AnarchyWARE. It will also own the Hedge Fund Implode-O-Meter.
A site you almost need to experience to understand, birthdayshoes.com is a fan site for Vibram fivefingers — funky foot gloves with Vibram soles. The site was founded in Spring 2009 and has already grown to be the de facto source for all things fivefingers. And if I ever see you, I'll probably be wearing a pair and will tell you all about them.
I created the blog, autoDogmatic in February of 2006. The blog was created to be a creative escape from the monotony of corporate lifestyle, a lifestyle exacerbated by doing accounting. Should you go there, you'll find writings from both Aaron Krowne and myself.
AutoDogmatic was always intended to have multiple bloggers; I happened to find Aaron via David Friedman's blog as he and I were both readers and commenters there. Realizing Aaron was a fellow Atlantan with similar idealogical leanings to my own, I began subscribing to his FURL. At one point, I found a broken link in an iTulip article Aaron wrote, so I contacted Aaron to correct the error. Next thing you know, we're having a beer at Neighbor's at Lil' Five Points discussing the merits of anarcho-capitalism. Within a couple of days I invited him to join me blogging on autoDogmatic. He accepted. That was early summer 2006. And that is that.
